Hello and welcome to another post from Alicia’s Domain!
So I can’t stress enough how important it is to make time for each other as a couple. Honestly the bae and I sometimes struggle with this because he works full time and we have kids. I make it a point for us to go out at least twice a month. Things can get pretty crazy around here with 5 kids so saving that coin is important. Date nights can get pretty expensive but they don’t have to be.
Sometimes the kids will go with their grandparents for the weekend. So that leaves us with some time to ourselves. Here are 22 cheap date night ideas.
Play video games – A night of video games is great especially if you both gamers. If not it can still be lots of fun.
Watch Movies – If you have Netflix or Hulu. You will have no trouble finding a great movie to watch. Pop some popcorn, grab some blankets, and enjoy a movie on the couch.
Play cards – Uno is one of my faves but there are many other card games. You can even make it a little kinky and have the loser do a dare.

Workout together – Set some workout goals together and workout with each other.
Go Swimming – Swimming can be a fun date, especially if you can find a spot that doesn’t have any kids around.
Have karaoke night – Don’t have a karaoke machine? That’s fine! So put it on Youtube and find your favorite song that has the video lyrics. You can sing all night!
Rent a movie – Believe it or not Redbox is still around. If you don’t want to do that then, you can rent from Youtube, Google Play, or Itunes.
Play a board game – Since we have kids, we always have some kind of board game lying around. You can always find cheap one at Walmart or Target too.
Stargaze – This is nice, especially on a warm night. Try to guess what the stars are. You never know what you might see.
Go to the park – Have a nice convo together. Have a picnic.
