I recently returned from an epic solo trip to Las Vegas, and let me tell you—it was everything I imagined and more! I booked myself into Planet Hollywood, a hotel that blends excitement and luxury with a hint of stardom, and it didn’t disappoint. You can read about my stay here. Before the Magic Mike show, I went to Gordon Ramsay Burger, because what’s a trip to Vegas without indulging in some world-class cuisine, right? I didn’t have to go far because it’s located inside Planet Hollywood. Let me say, this wasn’t your average burger joint. I had the Hell’s Kitchen Burger, and it was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The truffle fries were out of this world. I recommend you get the ranch with it because it has cheese bits in it that are so good. The casual yet chic atmosphere was the perfect place to unwind after a night of fun.

No trip to Vegas is complete without a bit of glitz, glamour, and live entertainment, and I had the best seat in the house for the Magic Mike Live show! Wow—what an experience! It’s a high-energy spectacle that makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. The choreography was fun, the music was on point, and the performers? Captivating. No matter where you sit you get to see some action up close. That’s all I will say without spoiling it too much, but I can see why this show is so popular; it was interactive, and fun, and left everyone (myself included) buzzing with excitement.

What made this trip truly special, though, was the freedom of doing it solo. I didn’t have to consult with anyone, every choice was mine. Walking the Strip during the day, soaking in the neon lights at night, exploring the countless casinos, and people-watching—it was fun! There’s something so liberating about traveling alone, and Vegas is the perfect destination for it. I felt like I could do anything at my own pace, and with so much to see and do, I was never bored.

This year, I decided to spend our spring break in Branson, Missouri—a destination known for its lively entertainment, outdoor adventures, and family-friendly attractions.
