Ladies, ladies, ladies!! Okay so this post is very different from my other post, but I wanted to get this out to those who will experience this, so you will know what to expect.
Okay so it’s been a little over a year since I got my wisdom teeth pulled. I haven’t had any issues at all except that it made my menstrual cycle a month late! I’m pretty regular and was freaking out because I didn’t know what was going on.
I called the office where I got my teeth pulled and ask the receptionist if getting your wisdom teeth interfered with your cycle and her answer was “No, it shouldn’t”. So I bought 3 test and took one each week and they all were negative.
Finally I called my OB and asked the same question, and I was told that getting your wisdom teeth can interfere with your cycle because it’s a lot of your body. Girl, why didn’t I think to call them first? I could have saved myself a lot of worrying and trouble.
Anyway, the answer is YES, if you got you wisdom teeth pulled it can mess with your period! Just a heads up.

My wisdom teeth never came through so I’ve never had to deal with this but it makes total sense that the added stress on your body could cause some problems. It’s crazy how much stuff can interfere with your cycle. It’s a shame your dentist didn’t realise that!! x
