This day was Anthony’s birthday so we did whatever he wanted to do. We started off with breakfast at the world cafe. I got ackee and saltfish. My favorite Jamaican dish. It’s so yummy. I also got fruit as well.
After breakfast, we hit the gym, then played pool. I really like that there is so much to do on the resort. It’s perfect if you don’t want to venture out and would just like to chill and hang out at the resort during your stay. Everyday there is a different activity.
After we played pool we showered and headed to one of my favorite spots which is the beach! Listening to the waves while you read a book is so relaxing.
So after we spent time at the beach, we got hungry, so we headed over to grab lunch. They have a pasta station at the World Cafe which was our go to for lunch. I got a white sauce pasta with veggies and a Bob Marley to wash it down.
After lunch we headed back to the beach for a little while then off to the jacuzzi before going back to the room to get ready for dinner.
For dinner the boo wanted to try out the rooftop bar over at Breathless. It’s called Altitude. To get there we had to walk over by the St. James preferred side and go across the walkway to get there. Breathless is an updated more modern style resort. There we were greeted by Rick James, he is kinda like the hype man. He does a great job. The food at Altitude was just okay, but the drinks at the bar and the entertainment was so much fun! Anthony enjoyed his birthday for sure!
Tip#1 : Tipping is not required but it is very much appreciate. Everyone that works here does a great job and they work hard.
Tip #2 The earlier you ge to a restaurant the better. We didn’t really have a wait but things move a lot faster.

Enjoyed the post. Jamaica is on my bucket list. I have many friends from there, but have never been. Your post inspires me to make it sooner than later.

Jamaica looks like a dream. Last year we visited Puerto Rico and we’ve been dying for another trip back to the Caribbean. Hopefully this winter we can make it down there.

Looks like a great vacation – eating and relaxing on the beach are exactly what I like to do, too. 🙂

Our chiro has been there 3 times and shares with us that he and his family love spending time there. Great to read about it and get a feel for it through your photos. Great Blog.
