This was my favorite day because we went to Jamwest, where we did zip lining and ATV’s. We also stopped at Rick’s Cafe and saw some cliff diving. So much fun!
We started the day off with breakfast at the World Cafe and enjoyed fresh fruit, potatoes and waffles. Next we headed to wait for our bus, which picked us up at 10 am. We had a long drive to Negril, and although we did stop to grab a quick snack, I recommend eating breakfast before you go, and to take some snacks with you.
We arrived at Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park after 12. We checked in, signed our waivers, and went out to do the first activity which was zip lining. I have been zip lining twice before, but this time I was super nervous and had no clue why. Maybe it was because we climbed to the tops of towers to zip line to the next. Chile we were up high! Our guides were doing all kind of tricks and things as they went down. It was fun to watch! Once I got over my fear I had fun!
Next up was the ATV. I have never been so this was an awesome experience! I highly recommend it! My fiance and I chose to do the double so we rode together. We rode through a tunnel, over bumps, it was a blast.
Half way through we stopped by the sea, took some pics, and chatted with a younger boy who was a local. He took some cool pics for us too. It rained earlier so it was cloudy. If the sun was out it would’ve been so beautiful.
Once we were done with our adventure, we had lunch. I got festival, fish fingers with fries, and washed it down with a Ting.
Once we left Jamwest we headed to Rick’s Cafe. I had been wanting to go there for years! We got there just in time to catch some some cliff diving. They have a pool there and you can grab drinks and food. When the sun is beginning to set the cliff diving is over and it’s time for the live music. Can y’all believe we were only allowed to stay 20 minutes?? I would had loved to go without a group so I could have stayed much longer. The sunset is absolutely gorgeous!

We had a long ride back to our hotel where we showered, and headed to dinner at Blue Mountain, our favorite spot, which serves Jamaican dishes. I got a crab cake for an appetizer,Coconut snapper for my main dish and washed it down with my favorite drink, a rum punch. After a long day we went straight to sleep!
Have you been to Rick’s Cafe before? What is your favorite spot in Jamaica?

I have not made it to Jamaica yet but it is on top of my bucket list. I will have to add some of this to my list of activities except maybe the ziplining! A part of me wants to zipline but I am so scared of heights!

You got me at “Ziplining”! We’ve never been to Jamaica but have only heard about it from our dr. But now seeing your photos and reading your experience, gave me a better visual of what to expect. So fun, and great read!
