Hey everyone! So I have an upcoming road trip and I’m honestly nervous about it. This will be the longest I’ve ever driven. The kids and I plan on going to Florida for a few days for their spring break. I have already picked out a place to stay I just have to pick out a car. Before everything started happening in the world we would try to go somewhere at least once a year.
Here are Road Trip Essentials you need when you take your next road trip.

I’m super excited but also nervous because my 4 year old has never been in a car longer than 2 hours. I put together a list of things I am definitely going to take. Normally we would fly to our destination because its just faster, this time around I feel safer driving. It will be just us in the car. I also choose to go to a beach place because I feel like it will be easier to social distance there. I will also be documenting our trip here on my blog and on our family Youtube channel so stay tuned for that.

I was concerned for a second because the first list says “gun” not “gum” – I love travel and with the Covid restrictions in place it seems like the only adventures I’ve been doing involve a road trip. This is a great list of things – I often find that I forget something – so a list should really help. Have fun in Florida!

There are some definite necessities on that list 🙂 we are planning a road trip to Yellowstone national park this summer! Only about 9 hour drive from where we live but with 4 kids ages 10-baby I’m already planning the road trip list! Thanks for some great ideas!

I love checklist. They are always so helpful.
Great suggestions! I also like to bring along a few ziptop bags. They work great in a pinch for storing wet beach clothes, keeping valuables dry, and as a trash bag when there isn’t one nearby. Hope you have a safe and fun trip with your littles!
Ziploc bags are such a lifesaver!
I always bring along some doggy poop bags. They are great for unexpected blowouts!
