My sons were on a family reunion trip all the way in New York city, so I thought it would be the perfect time to take a mother daughter trip to Orlando, Florida.
We had sooo much fun! We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana again, but this time in a one bedroom suite. You can read about my stay in the two bedroom suite here: Sheraton Vistana Resort Villa. We didn’t get to our room until around 7 or 8 that night and since it was just the girls and I, we ordered pizza from the resort’s restaurant called Mai Tiki Hut Bar. It was so good! So staying in the two bedroom villa kinda had me spoiled, so I called to see about moving to the one bedroom villa that had a balcony. The first one we were in was a lot smaller and it did not come with a balcony. I spoke with a manager and she said she would call us when our new room was ready. Perfect! Here are pics from the one bedroom villa.
So the girls and I took a trip to Wal-Mart to stock our room and fridge with goodies and by the time we came back we had a message saying that our new room was ready! Yay!
The new room was a lot spacious and had the balcony that I love! The balconies are screened in so no worries about bugs or the kids hurting themselves. I loved it.
So once we moved we decided to go to the one of the many outlet malls. I wish I remembered the name. We had a blast though!
The next day we hung out at the pool which was much needed because Florida was smoking hot! After the pool we went to Bahama Breeze for lunch. Y’all If you are ever in Orlando, I recommend going there because the food was delicious! There were so many options to choose from and I had the hardest time picking. I settled on shrimp for an appetizer and a shrimp pasta for my main course. I was satisfied when I left.
So we wanted to head back to the pool but in July it rained every day that we were there. Oh well tomorrow was a new day so we went to the aquarium and Madame Tussauds wax museum. It was a lot of fun! We took pictures with so many celebs. The aquarium was super cool too. We really wanted to go to Universal Orlando Studios but it didn’t seem right without the rest of the fam.
We had so much fun and I really enjoyed spending time with my two girls. Sheraton Vistana is my go to place to stay in Orlando!
