It’s that time of year again everyone! Only this year things are much different. Man how time flies ,it seem like just yesterday we were out on a date night just last year. As you can see I worded the title differently.
Here are Valentine’s Day Ideas During the pandemic. These are just a few ideas for those looking to spend time with their loved one without being out in public.
Massage
I will never turn down a massage because it’s so relaxing. It would be really nice if you could give each other a massage after a nice bubble bath together. Sounds nice doesn’t it?
Watch A Movie
Amazon has so many movies available to rent, starting at $3.99. If you don’t want to rent Netflix or Hulu always has great titles to check out.
Plan Your Next Trip
Whether it be a staycation, travel in the U.S. or international travel, you can sit together and plan your next trip together. Where would you like to go? What would you like to see? What cultures would you like to experience when you are able to again? It’s so exciting to talk about travel.
Order From Your Favorite Restaurant
Many places are offering specials for Valentine’s day. Drunken Fish which is one St. Louis’s sushi restaurants, is offering a huge meal deal for 2. It will include it a 5 course special that will also include a bottle of wine. I can’t wait to take advantage of it. All I have to do is pick it up and enjoy it at home. So check with your fave spots.
Cook A Nice Meal
If your don’t even want to leave the house, you can have everything delivered to you, and you can make it yourself. I have been taking advantage of this every chance I get. For our anniversary that’s just what I did. I had the kids go to there rooms and we enjoyed a nice candlelit dinner just the two of us.
Have a Game Night
Babe and I are huge gamers so it’s always nice when we can enjoy some co op gaming together. If you are not into video games, board games are really fun too!
Paint Together
Painting is a good stress reliever and it is so relaxing. You can spice it up and paint each other like in Titanic LOL
Have a Virtual Double Date Night
This can be fun to do with another couple. There are so many things to do. You can play games together, chit chat, there are so many options.
What are your plans for Valentines Day? Will you use any tips from above?
